AnswerThePublic – Who is Using Video Marketing

In this video as part of a series called AnswerThePublic, I answer the query “who is using video marketing.”

According to some studies, 50 percent of all searches will be voice search by 2020 (Brafton). Well, we’re already 3 months into 2020, and the growth of voice search is only beginning.

There are 2 ways to make your business voice search relevant – either make podcasts or video. Whatever you choose, you need to focus on making content that is delivered by voice.

A great way to make your business or brand voice search ready is to make videos. Video has an audio component, and the Google AI can “read” or “listen” to this component to understand what your business is about.

Moreover, video production also helps with generating awareness for your business by producing videos. You can then use these video assets to bump your profile on YouTube, Facebook or Instagram.

So who is using video marketing?

They are forward thinking business owners who understand that they will need more than text blog posts to stay relevant.

They need to be making videos (and market those videos to the right audience) to compete in a digital marketing world, where voice search is becoming a larger piece of the search engine pie.

Hi, my name is Reggie Beltran. I am a film producer and owner of 2Bridges Productions – a video marketing and video production company based in New York City.

And in this video I’m going to talk about or rather answer one of the burning questions that people have when it comes to video marketing and this video is part of a long-running series in which I answer queries about video marketing from the website answerthepublic.com.

Check it out. It is a very useful website especially if you’re into SEO or video marketing so today’s burning query there on people’s minds are.. who is using video marketing?

Well I’ll tell you who is using video marketing. Forward-thinking business people — are using video marketing more…

People who want to stay relevant when it comes to the Google search.

Now if you follow this popular figure his name is Gary Vaynerchuk or a lot of these followers know him as Gary Vee..

He talks about voice search and how important it is to create content where you are voice search relevant.

And if you Google voice search, statistics and type those words in Uncle G.o.o.g.l.e — you’ll find that I think now is 2020…

Voice search represents 50% of the overall search on Google and that trend will continue to grow.

And you can only look at yourself or perhaps your neighbors and see how many of them own Alexa’s or own these voice capable devices in their home.

The fact is more and more people are using voice and in order to stay relevant in a world where voice search will encompass a majority of search in the future.

It is very important to create assets where you are actually talking or creating voice content so there’s two ways to do that one is podcasts.

This is why podcasts have become popular again the past few years. And the second way to stay relevant when it comes to voice search is of course video.

And this is why people create video or some people who are forward-thinking business owners. They create video because they want to stay voice relevant.

Because the interesting thing about making video is that you can not only create video for video itself. Well you can extract the audio and create podcasts out of it.

And once you post the video or extract the audio and post the podcast or do both then what’s gonna happen is the Google crawl bot or google AI will see that you’re making all these videos about your industry.

So going back to the question who is using video marketing it’s smart people. Smart or forward-thinking people who care about Google search and understand that the trend is voice search and in order to be voice relevant or voice search relevant going forward you need to create assets where you’re where you deliver content with voice.

And that’s either podcast or video. Ideally with both. And if you do video you’re definitely doing both.
