How to Create Marketing Videos for YouTube
You want to make some videos for YouTube but you don’t know how to appeal to the viewers for marketing purposes?

BUILDING RAPPORT WITH A VIEWER:
You need your viewer to essentially “feel” you through your videos, think of the person that you are closest to, it may be your best friend, husband, wife, whoever it may be, and you talk to them emotionally and with passion.
That is how you need to express your thoughts to viewers and “sell” them to keep watching, you have to “hook” them with your passion, and excitement because if you aren’t excited about it how do you expect them to be?
Before I discovered website marketing I used to work at a call center as a collector.
My first month on the job, I hit all my bonuses, and was recognized by the company which surprised everyone. It was because I was able to build RAPPORT with the people.
Oddly enough, the majority of the people I was collecting from thought of me as more of a friend than a collector.
They actually worked to get the money because I didn’t bring them down. I didn’t just “rag” on them and tell them how terrible they were.
I gave them ideas to get money, and gave them my honest opinion on there situation.
THE ACTUAL RECORDING OF THE VIDEO:
Virtually any video camera will work, if you have a tripod you can use that or you can put it on a table, do a practice video first to check lighting. If you need advice on what camera to use, check out on my take on the best DSLR cameras for making videos.
You may need to buy a $20 external microphone jack.
There is an external cord from your video camera that will allow you to download and then upload to the video sites and your website. If you cannot get your videos to download due to not having a fire wire connection you can use a media card that you put in the camera and the camera should have a card mode to switch over to record on it.
If you do not have a video camera find a family member or friend that will let you rent one.
MAKING YOUR VIDEO OUTLINE:
Make an outline for each video you are going to record, with bullets to go over before you begin recording, organize your thoughts prior to recording, and then shoot.
You may need to record one or two times, but remember build rapport and if you mess up saying a couple things, they won’t hold it against you.
Just remember if you totally slaughter your recording, you need to rerecord. If you really can’t do it, find someone that can, tell them what you are doing, let them do the recordings, and tell them you will pay them from the proceeds.
The only disadvantage to having someone else record for you is that you just can’t say, “go to my website”, you have to make it more of a 3rd person thing where they say go to “(website name).
I personally like to represent myself.
